Mentor Hope:

a skill-building, relationship-centered mentorship opportunity for kids ages 4-12

how it works: weekly classes

Mentor Hope is now a weekly mentoring opportunity for kids ages 4-12! Each Thursday from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Hope for Kids Den, kids are served a meal, participate in a character development class, and receive one hour of individualized tutoring or mentoring in classes offered by our volunteers.

Children can sign up to participate in six-week cycles and classes offered will vary from cycle to cycle. Sign-up prior to classes and a completed permission slip is required for each child who attends. Contact us to be notified when Mentor Hope classes are decided for the 2018-2019 school year and sign up your child! Just mention "Mentor Hope 2018".

Volunteers, Do you have a heart to share your gifting?

Do you have a skill you'd like to share in a Mentor Hope class? Whether you are a baker, chess player, musician, or artist, kids love to learn. As you work alongside Hope for Kids children, learning and creating together, you have an amazing opportunity to get to know the kids God brings to your class and invest in their lives, teaching them skills they can use for a lifetime. Whatever your skill is, if you'd like to turn it into a six-week class and serve alongside other volunteers please let us know today!
