PRAYER: LIGHTS THE FIRE

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16b). This ought to be our first recourse and the most used resource. There is tremendous power when we pray. We should be careful to never overlook that fact. Prayer is the foundation for everything we do in our organization.

EXCELLENCE: FUELS THE FIRE

Whatever you do, do well (Ecclesiastes 9:10a). Anything we do that has God’s name attached to it should be done well – very well. In all of our Hope for Kids endeavors, we should ask ourselves, “Did I do my best?” If our answer is “no,” then ask ourselves, “Why not?” We must remember who we represent – Almighty God Himself. If we don’t pursue excellence at every level, the work will appear lukewarm at best.

TEAMWORK: SPREADS THE FIRE

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed (Ecclesiastes 4:9). You can do a few good things and I can do a few good things, but together we can do many good things. It takes a collaborative effort In order to fulfill our mission of providing humanitarian help and spiritual hope to the boys and girls who need it most; we must work together as a team. “Teamwork makes the dream work.”
